Job summary

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Newton, New Jersey. The role involves preparing patients and equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures, providing procedural support, and assisting with PCI, peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology cases.

The position features day shifts, 9-hour workdays, and a minimum of 36 hours per week, with on-call STEMI coverage on a four-day schedule.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist with state licensure.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• IABP experience and prior catheterization lab exposure.
• RCIS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
• Provide procedural assistance before, during, and after procedures.
• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data.
• Assess and manage vascular access sites and communicate findings to the physician.
• Adhere to cardiac catheterization laboratory on-call protocols.
