Job summary

MEP Health in Wilson, NC seeks a Travel Cath Lab Tech to assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. The role includes patient and equipment prep, monitoring hemodynamic data, and ensuring patient safety.

The position requires ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications, BLS/ACLS, and strong communication and teamwork under pressure, with a focus on high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Recent minimum one year experience as Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and certifications (ARRT, RCIS, RCES).
• Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and technical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.
• Prepare patients and equipment, monitor hemodynamic data, and ensure patient safety.
• Operate imaging and monitoring equipment; support physicians during catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and EP studies.
• Manage inventory, document procedures, and adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory protocols.
• Perform sheath removal, maintain equipment, and collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Operate imaging and monitoring equipment, maintain sterile technique, and support physicians during procedures such as catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies.

Manage inventory, document procedures accurately, and adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory protocols.

Perform sheath removal, maintain equipment, and collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Recent minimum one year experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS, ACLS, and appropriate certifications (ARRT, RCES, RCIS)
• Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and technical skills
• Physical ability to handle equipment and assist with procedures
