Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Oakland, CA. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, and maintaining sterile technique in a high-pressure lab environment.

The ideal candidate has one year of recent Cath Lab experience, current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certifications. Preferred licensure and additional certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification required.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification required.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment and hemodynamic monitoring systems; ensure proper functionality.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup; adhere to infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
