Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Oakland, CA. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring safety.

The ideal candidate has one year of Cath Lab experience and required ARRT/RCIS/RCES, BLS, ACLS certifications, and a Radiologic Technologist license. You will work 40 hours per week on day shifts with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement and related procedures.
• Assist physicians by handling catheters, wires, balloons and stents, and operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors and hemodynamic systems, ensuring proper function.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field per infection control protocols.
• Document patient records, imaging data and equipment logs.
