Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, patient preparation, and equipment operation.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of Cath Lab experience, current BLS and ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES credentials. Travel benefits, competitive pay, and full clinical support are provided.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup and infection control protocols
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs
• Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies
• Support broader safety and regulatory standards in the lab
• Perform additional duties within scope of practice
