Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Palo Alto, CA. You will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and ensure patient safety throughout the process.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed; document patient data and equipment logs.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies; ensure regulatory compliance.
