Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in San Luis Obispo, CA. You will prepare patients, assist with interventional procedures, and ensure patient safety while using fluoroscopy and monitoring systems.

The role requires at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS and ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES credentials. Travel benefits and competitive pay are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Preferred: Valid Radiologic Technologist license; PALS or ENPC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and operate fluoroscopy equipment.
• Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring systems and maintain equipment.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field during procedures per protocol.
• Document patient records and equipment logs accurately.
• Assist with inventory, supplies, and instrument storage.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and hospital guidelines.
