Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Marysville, CA. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring patient safety in a high-pressure environment.

The candidate should have 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience and current BLS/ACLS, ARRT, RCIS/RCES certifications. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage, competitive pay, and travel allowances.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech is required.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification is required.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification is required.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents and operating fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup per infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
