Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Baltimore, MD. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and maintaining patient safety in a high-pressure environment.

The position requires one year of Cath Lab experience, current BLS/ACLS, and ARRT RCIS/RCES certification, with preference for radiologic licensure and advanced certifications.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech required.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification required.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification required.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification required.
• Radiologic Technologist license within state regulations preferred.
• PALS or ENPC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Pass catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic equipment.
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup per protocols.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Adhere to radiation safety and hospital policies; ensure patient safety.
