Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Baltimore, MD. The role focuses on assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, patient preparation, equipment handling, and patient safety in a high-pressure lab.

Requirements include 1 year of cath lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications; radiologic licensure and PALS/ENPC are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year's recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Valid Radiologic Technologist license (preferred).
• PALS or ENPC certifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with sterile field setup.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols.
• Assist with inventory management and supply storage.
