Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 16-week assignment in Baltimore, MD. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, assisting with interventional cardiovascular procedures, and ensuring patient safety in a high-pressure lab.

Requirements include one year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications. Travel compensation includes benefits and a dedicated clinical team support system.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment and hemodynamic systems; ensure proper functionality.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; adhere to infection control protocols.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs; assist with inventory management.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and hospital policies; perform other duties as assigned.
