Job summary

The Cath Lab Technologist position with Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is a 13-week travel assignment in Thornton, CO. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.

Requirements include 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications; preferred radiologic licensure, PALS/ENPC, and other licenses may be needed.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Preferred Radiologic Technologist license within state regulations.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment with attention to safety.
• Maintain sterile field and document patient records and equipment logs.
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and hospital policies.
