Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Brighton, Colorado. As part of our team, you’ll support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab, preparing patients and equipment and ensuring patient safety throughout the procedure.

The role involves 40 hours per week with day shifts, competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a dedicated clinical team to support your travel assignment.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; adhere to infection control protocols.
• Maintain patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and stock supplies; ensure sterile storage.
