Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Cath Lab RN for a 13-week assignment in Thornton, CO. The RN will prepare patients for cardiac catheterization, assist during procedures, and monitor recovery in a fast-paced cath lab team.

Requires 1 year Cath Lab experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS. Preferred: PALS/ENPC, RCIS. Excellent communication and safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Cath Lab RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients prior to procedures including history review and exams.
• Position patients and place EKG leads for procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures with catheters, wires, balloons, stents and devices.
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment and cardiac rhythms.
• Monitor post/procedure recovery and transition care.
• Maintain cath lab equipment and ensure supplies are ready.
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients and physicians.
• Adhere to safety, infection control and regulatory standards.
