Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Brighton, CO. The role involves preparing patients, assisting during interventional cardiovascular procedures, and operating imaging and monitoring systems.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications, with licensure preferred. Travel benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Preferred: Radiologic Technologist license in state regulations.
• PALS or ENPC certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; follow infection control and protocol guidelines.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of supplies.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and hospital safety guidelines.
• Comply with departmental policies and regulatory requirements.
