Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for an immediate travel opening in Oakland, CA. The role involves scrub, monitoring, and assisting in complex cardiac procedures, requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience and active BLS/ACLS credentials.

ARRT (R)-CI or RCIS certification is preferred, with state licensing as required. The position is a 13-week travel assignment with 10-hour days, 40 hours per week, and a tax-free stipend.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience.
• Experience assisting physicians during cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Required or preferred ARRT (R)-CI or RCIS certification and state licensing where applicable.
• BLS and ACLS certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in and assist during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare rooms, instruments, and sterilization for cardiac lab procedures.
• Set up and calibrate pressure transducers and tubing; manage hemodynamic data.
• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures.
• Perform defibrillation and CPR as life-saving measures when needed.
