Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Cath Lab Technologist in Bakersfield, CA for a 13‑week assignment. The travel role requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS, and ARRT(R)CI or CCI‑RCIS certification where required.

Expect scrubbing, monitoring, data recording, and patient care in a fast-paced cardiac lab. Responsibilities include room prep, instrument sterilization, equipment calibration, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab experience or equivalent.
• BLS and ACLS certification, ARRT(R)CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification.
• State licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cardiac Lab procedure rooms: ensure stock, sterilization, and setup.
• Prepare patient and equipment for procedures: site entry, draping, instruments, catheters, and pressure transducers.
• Operate and ensure quality control of all Cath Lab equipment.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist physician with catheters.
• Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures.
• Assist in life-saving measures including defibrillation and CPR.
