Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with IR experience for a cardiac catheterization lab role. The position requires ARRT/RCIS certification, Epic EMR experience, and BLS/ACLS, with a minimum of one year in Cath Lab settings.

The role involves diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including PCI and stent placement, with on-call expectations and potential travel across facilities within the system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as Cath Lab Tech with IR experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• ARRT R or CCI RCIS certification; licensure if applicable.
• Epic EMR experience required (1 year).
• Experience with diagnostic/interventional cardiac cath lab procedures (PCI, stents, IABP, and Impella).
• Experience with IR and vascular/genitourinary studies; EP studies a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Care for heart catheterization patients including right/left heart caths and PCI.
• Document in Epic EMR; use Omnicell for medications.
• Operate specialized equipment (IABP, Impella, IVUS).
• Work day shift 40 hours/week; participate in on-call rotation.
• Potential to float to other units or campuses within the health system.
