Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of recent cath lab experience for a 13-week assignment supporting cardiac catheterization procedures. This travel role requires BLS and ACLS (AHA) certification, ARRT-R or RCIS certification, and a license where applicable.

Responsibilities include diagnostic and interventional procedures, room setup, sterile technique, and on-call coverage. Open to first-time travelers; local candidates may be considered with adjusted rates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only).
• ARRT-R and/or RCIS certification accepted.
• License required if applicable.
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and left/right heart catheterization.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab setting.
• Adult patient population for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• On-call required, approximately 8 weeknights and 4 weekend 24-hour shifts per 6-week schedule.
• Weekend shifts required, inclusive of pre-scheduled on-call requirements.
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled and as part of on-call rotation.
• Floating required within specialty/department scope as needed.
• Responsibilities include equipment set up, sterile field maintenance, and room circulation during procedures.
