Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Eureka, California. The technologist will perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in an acute care cath lab and support pacemaker insertions.

Requires 2+ years Cath Lab experience, ARRT-R, BLS, ACLS, fluoroscopy permit, and Epic charting familiarity; RCIS preferred. Travel with housing resources and comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience required.
• ARRT-R, BLS, and ACLS certification required.
• Fluoroscopy permit required; pending permit acceptable.
• RCIS not accepted in lieu of ARRT; RCIS preferred or 5+ years experience.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• Community hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Assist with PCI, PTCA, left and right heart catheterization.
• Place or assist with pacemaker insertions.
• Maintain fluoroscopy equipment and PACS familiarity.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to protocols.
