Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of EP experience and ARRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications. This contract role includes 4x10 hour day shifts with no weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities cover EP procedures, scrub/circulating duties, and charting in a fast-paced cath lab environment. Ideal candidates will have EP procedure experience, familiarity with ablations and device placements, and ability to provide age-appropriate care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of EP experience including monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing.
• Current ARRT (R), BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
• CCI RCES and RCIS certifications preferred.
• License required if applicable.
• Skilled in interpretation of dysrhythmias and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Experience with electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, AICD insertion/programming, pacemaker insertion, and tilt table studies.
• Proficient in maintaining sterile field while scrubbing and serving as room circulator.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE use.
• Able to provide age-specific care for middle adult and older adult populations.

• Work in the Electrophysiology Lab performing cardiac cath lab and EP procedures.
• 4x10 hour day shifts scheduled on random days each week.
• No weekend or holiday coverage required.
• Charting system experience required (any system accepted).
• Perform a full range of cardiac cath lab and EP procedures including ablations, mapping, cardioversion, and device implantation.
• Work as part of a team responsible for circulating and scrubbing during procedures.
• 13-week contract assignment.
