Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Cath Lab/VIR Radiologic Technologist with 2+ years of IR/Cath Lab experience to support interventional cardiology and vascular procedures in a 110-bed hospital setting.

The role requires ARRT registration, Ohio radiologic license (if applicable), BLS/ACLS, and EPIC charting experience. The candidate will scrub, monitor, and circulate for interventional procedures, with travel opportunities and first-float responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT registration and Ohio radiologic license (if applicable).
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Vascular IR technologist experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, exposure, positioning, physics, radiation protection, and medical terminology.
• EPIC charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, monitor, and circulate for interventional cardiologists and radiologists in Cath Lab and VIR settings.
• Operate and knowledgeably use X-ray equipment, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile technique.
• Perform duties with knowledge of fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound imaging for minimally invasive vascular procedures.
• Work 4x10 hour day shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) with weekend and weekday call.
• Travelers are first to float and there is 366-day separation from prior OhioHealth employment for travel eligibility.

• Cath Lab and Vascular Interventional Radiology (VIR) setting within a 110-bed hospital
• Role includes scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating for interventional cardiologists and radiologists
• Cath Lab duties require knowledge of X-ray equipment, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique
• VIR duties require knowledge of fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound imaging equipment for minimally invasive vascular procedures
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
• Weekend and weekday call required
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Travelers are first to float
• Serves as assistant to interventional cardiologists and radiologists for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate
• Permanent address must be greater than 50 miles from the most central facility to qualify for travel eligibility
• Maximum of 10 days requested time off per contract, with none allowed during the initial weeks of the assignment
• Staff returning to OhioHealth must have a 366-day separation from prior employment before accepting a travel assignment
