Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Radiology Technologist with cath lab experience and ARRT certification for a cardiac catheterization unit.

This on-site role in New Jersey requires at least 1 year cath lab experience, ARRT certification, and fluoroscopy proficiency with C-Arm equipment. NJ license preferred or required if applicable; DOB and SSN are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year cath lab experience required.
• ARRT certification required; NJ license preferred or license required if applicable.
• Certified in fluoroscopy; proficient with C-Arm equipment.
• Experience assisting in cath procedures and PCIs, including Impella and balloon pump device insertion.
• Experience scrubbing IR procedures including nephrostomy tube insertion, PICC insertion, permacath insertion, pacemaker insertion, and cerebral thrombectomy.
• DOB and SSN required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Catheterization unit.
• 4 shifts per week, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with at least 9 shifts per month.
• Call coverage required 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday with a 30-minute response time to pages.
• Assist with cath lab procedures, PCIs, and various IR procedures as part of daily responsibilities.
• Workplace Violence Prevention certification (DCI/BVP) required, which can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or a free CDC resource.
• Accepts local candidates.

• Experience assisting in cath procedures and PCIs, including Impella and balloon pump device insertion
• Experience scrubbing IR procedures including nephrostomy tube insertion, PICC insertion, permacath insertion, pacemaker insertion, and cerebral thrombectomy
• Skillset should encompass RCIS-level competencies
• DOB and SSN required for consideration
