American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience for a teaching hospital's acute care cardiac catheterization lab in Minnesota.

Role includes scrubbing, driving the table, and supporting complex procedures with comprehensive on-site and travel benefits. Expect 4x10 hour shifts, on-call, and potential float to affiliate facilities.

Qualifications

2+ years of cath lab experience as an X-ray Tech.
BLS and ARRT required; ACLS and ARRT Advanced Certification or RCIS preferred.
Scrub experience including stenting and driving the table.
Experience with coronary and peripheral angiograms, stents, and related devices.
C-Arm operation and familiarity with multiple imaging platforms.

Responsibilities

Acute care teaching hospital cath lab with a daily caseload of 15 patients.
Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular studies.
Procedures include angiograms, right/left heart caths, ASD/PFO workups, and stents.
Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 to 5:30, with weekend rotation.
On-call 2-3 shifts every two weeks; may float to affiliate facility.
Prepare access sites, scrub in, and manage sterile field; use closure devices.

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience for a teaching hospital's acute care cardiac catheterization lab.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience working in a cath lab as an X-ray Tech
BLS and ARRT required; ACLS and ARRT Advanced Certification or RCIS preferred
Scrub experience required including stenting and driving the table
Experience with coronary and peripheral angiograms, stents, PFO, ASD, atherectomy, EKOS, CSI, and rotablade procedures
C-Arm operation experience required
Experience with GE, Philips, Siemens, MedRad, GE Mac Lab, Q-Site, and Synapse systems preferred
Epic/Excellian charting experience preferred
License required if applicable
Pending state license accepted
1 supervisor reference required for consideration
Date of birth, SSN, and RTO details required for consideration

Responsibilities

Acute care teaching hospital with Level 2 Trauma Center designation
Cath Lab unit with a daily caseload of 15 patients
Diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular lab
Procedures include diagnostic and interventional angiograms, right and left heart caths, ASD and PFO closures, Impella, EKOS, rotablade atherectomy, and stent placement
4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend
On-call requirement of 2-3 shifts per two-week period
Will float to an affiliate sister facility as needed
Epic (Excellian) EMR used
Responsibilities include equipment setup, prepping access sites, scrubbing in to maintain a sterile field, and using vascular closure systems such as Perclose and StarClose
Candidates may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
Scrubs are provided
No parking fees
First-time travelers are not accepted
Local candidates within 100 miles are not accepted for this position
Returning employees must have been gone at least 3 months from their last perm staff or per diem shift
RTO should ideally be no more than 5 days
Pre-start modules are required and must be completed prior to starting
