Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CV Invasive Specialist for a Cardiac Cath Lab in Colorado. The role requires ARRT or RCIS certification and cardiology/Cath Lab experience.

Day-to-day includes invasive procedures under RN supervision, Epic EMR charting, and ensuring sterile technique. The candidate will work a 5x8 day shift (40 hours weekly) with on-site responsibilities, patient education, and active participation in quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the specialty required; 2 years in Cardiology/Cath Lab preferred.
• Registered ARRT required, or RCIS within 18 months of hire; RCIS inside 18 months or RCES CV cert alternative.
• BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association required and must not expire before start date.
• Fluoroscopy certification required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting supporting invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• 5x8 day shift schedule, 40 hours per week.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• Provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures under RN supervision.
• Assist physicians with radiological imaging and act as scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions.
• Operate imaging equipment and monitor/document procedure images and events from the control room.
• Educate patients and families on procedure expectations and pre/post procedure care.
• Maintain unit cleanliness and appropriate stock levels for procedures.
• Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation per department standards.
• Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.

• Fluoroscopy certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
