American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with BLS and RCIS, ARRT(VI), or RTRCI certification and at least 2 years of healthcare experience.

The role involves working in a Cath Lab department, performing scrubbing, preparing procedure rooms, monitoring hemodynamic pressures, and coordinating patient care. Shifts are 4x10 hour days, with call requirements and some weekend work.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required.
• One of RCIS, ARRT(VI), or RTRCI (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare setting
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cath Lab department setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Minimum of one day of call per week and every third weekend
• Call requirements subject to change based on demand
• Assist in preparing patients and procedure rooms for cath lab procedures
• Scrub for procedures and monitor/record hemodynamic pressures
• Address health education needs for patients, families, and other healthcare providers
• Manage patient care assignments and related organizational tasks
• Apply knowledge of growth and development principles in patient interactions
