Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment in Eureka, CA. Requires 2+ years of Cath Lab/EP experience and ARRT (R), BLS, ACLS, and Fluoro Permit certifications.

On-call, 4x10 hour days, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, no weekend requirement. The role includes procedures in diagnostic/interventional cardiology and pacemaker insertions, with Epic EMR usage and 30 hours orientation provided.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab/EP experience required.
ARRT(R), BLS, ACLS certifications required.
Fluoro Permit required (license if applicable).
RCIS preferred; RCIS with 5+ years experience acceptable if not substituting ARRT.

Responsibilities

Acute care hospital with 150 staffed beds.
Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Lab setting.
Daily caseload of 8-12 cases.
Perform coronary and peripheral vascular diagnostic/interventional procedures; pacemaker insertions.
Maintain equipment, inventory and supplies.
On-call requirement; no weekend work; 4x10 hour day shifts 6:30 AM–5:00 PM.
