Job summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Cardiovascular Specialist, TS to assist physicians in invasive cardiac, electrophysiology and vascular procedures. You will care for patients before and after procedures in the holding area, schedule procedures, and coordinate patient care with physicians and staff.

The role includes scrubbing for peripheral angiography/intervention and EVAR procedures, with a scrub-only or circulator focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant cardiovascular experience in a Cath Lab and/or Hybrid OR setting.
• RCIS and/or RT(R) license required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• We are willing to consider a first-time traveler if RCIS credentialed
• Candidate must scrub peripheral angiography/intervention and EVAR procedures
• Role will be scrub-only or circulator; not required to administer conscious sedation or document

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in invasive cardiac, electrophysiology and vascular procedures.
• Care for patients before and after procedures in holding area.
• Schedule procedures and coordinate patient care with physicians and staff.
• Perform duties for the Invasive Cardiology department as assigned by manager
