The ideal candidate will have RN or radiologic allied health background, ARRT or RN licensure, ACLS within 90 days, and strong teamwork and communication skills to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Allied Health Technology (Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, etc.).
• Graduates of Cardiovascular Interventional Program or with 2+ years as a Cardiovascular Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies and procedures and promotes teamwork.
• Operates equipment for invasive cardiology procedures and ensures radiation safety.
• Prepares medications and checks emergency equipment prior to catheterization.
• Maintains documentation and records accurately in electronic systems.
• Provides patient care and education, communicating clearly with patients and families.
• Provides 24-hour on-call coverage for the Cardiac Cath Lab.
