Job summary

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina seeks a skilled Cardiovascular Specialist to support the Electrophysiology lab. The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with a 4/10 schedule and on-call coverage for the Cath Lab. The pay range is $35.50–$53.25 per hour, with ARRT RN licensure or equivalent required.

Graduate of an accredited nursing or allied health program is expected, plus cardiovascular interventional training or two years' experience. ACLS/BCLS preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR and ACLS certifications required or within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to communicate professionally with physicians and staff.
• Strong documentation and data-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies and promotes teamwork and safety.
• Ensures emergency equipment readiness and patient readiness for cases.
• Operates radiographic and fluoroscopic cardiac catheterization equipment.
• Maintains patient privacy and accurate record-keeping.
• Provides patient care under physician supervision during procedures.
• Participates in on-call coverage for the Cardiac Cath Lab.
