Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Cardiovascular Lab professional to join the Cardiac Catheterization Lab team. You will perform physiologic monitoring, circulating, scrubbing, and other duties aligned with licensure alongside cardiovascular surgeons and interventional cardiologists.

Responsibilities include patient care during procedures, emergency readiness, safety practices, documentation, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in registry/license scope preferred
• CPR certification upon hire
• Proficient in Circulator/Recorder/Scrubbing roles
• Professional communication with diverse age groups
• Analytical skills for scheduling, equipment and instruction

Responsibilities

• Emergency Preparedness: ensure equipment and supplies are ready and respond to emergencies
• Safe & Therapeutic Environment: promote safety standards and maintain equipment knowledge
• Record Keeping: enter patient data and charges; protect privacy
• Communication: maintain professional relationships with patients and colleagues
• On-Call: 24-hour coverage with timely response to calls
• Patient Care: monitor stability and assist with medications and procedures
• Education & Consultation: mentor colleagues and participate in continuing education
• Age-Specific Care: provide age-appropriate care and update guidelines
