Job summary

Hawthorne Health is expanding its Home Network and seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to join an in-home imaging study. You will travel regionally to patient homes to perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging, averaging about 25 visits per month, with travel reimbursements.

Role includes setting up portable ultrasound equipment, explaining procedures, and generating preliminary reports, all while following ASE standards.

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac imaging (e.g., RDCS or equivalent) and vascular imaging (RVT/RVS or CC I) or equivalent.
• Full-time or near full-time availability.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes regionally to conduct in-home cardiac and vascular imaging visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment at patient locations.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Ensure image quality and proper labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and comments.
