American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry/IMCU position in a Level 2 trauma hospital. The unit is 38 beds with 1:3-4 patient ratios, handling CHF, COPD, renal/respiratory failure, alcohol withdrawal, and post-PCI patients.

Requirements include a CA RN license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, COVID vaccination, and 2–3 years of specialty experience. On the first day, expect proctored dysrhythmia and sterile technique exams along with driver’s license submission.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• COVID vaccine required.
• 2-3 years of specialty experience required.
• Must pass a proctored dysrhythmia exam on first day (Pass/Fail).
• Must pass sterile technique test for Foley catheter/central line changes on first day.
• Two professional references: supervisor within 12 months and peer/supervisor within 3 years.

Responsabilités

• IMCU/Cardiac Telemetry unit (2 West) in a Level 2 trauma hospital.
• 38-bed unit with patient ratios 1:3-4.
• Diagnoses include CHF, COPD, renal/respiratory failure, alcohol withdrawal, post-PCI.
• Telemetry monitoring using GE Apex Telemetry; read/interpret strips.
