Qualifications

Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds: 30
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): 30 cardiac med-surg beds, per staffing grid: 6 nurses per shift with a free CNC/charge nurse to assist, unit secretary on dayshift, 3 PCTs per shift; cardiac drips that are titrated: Cardizem and heparin; non-titratable drips: dopamine, dobutamine, amiodarone, self-scheduling, airstrip for telemetry, immobile
Type of equipment: Client telemetry and Rover, portable WOWs, Welch-Allen VS machine
Documentation system: Meditech
Scheduling requirements: three full 12-hour shifts with 3-4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period
Floating policy: rotation with other travel nurses
Patient Experience requirements: NRC
