Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a night-shift RN for the Cardiac Med-Surg unit at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga. The role covers 12-hour nights, three days per week, on-site contract.

Candidates must hold RN license with BLS and ACLS, be proficient in telemetry and EKG rhythm identification, and have med-surg and cardiac-drug experience. Meditech experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensed with BLS and ACLS required.
• Experience with cardiac meds and drips preferred.
• Telemetry knowledge and EKG rhythm identification essential.
• Meditech documentation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 12-hour night shifts (3 days/week) on a cardio med‑surg unit.
• Monitor telemetry, administer medications, and respond to patient needs.
• Collaborate with hospital team to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): 30 cardiac med-surg beds, per staffing grid: 6 nurses per shift with a free CNC/charge nurse to assist, unit secretary on dayshift, 3 PCTs per shift; cardiac drips that are titrated: Cardizem and heparin; non-titratable drips: dopamine, dobutamine, amiodarone, self-scheduling, airstrip for telemetry, immobile
Type of equipment: Client telemetry and Rover, portable WOWs, Welch-Allen VS machine
Documentation system: Meditech
Scheduling requirements: three full 12‑hour shifts with 3‑4 weekend shifts per 4‑week scheduling period
Floating policy: rotation with other travel nurses
Patient Experience requirements: NRC
