Job summary

Insight Global seeks an experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician level 3 to join the travel field service team. The role focuses on offsite locations, not hospitals, and involves maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of medical devices used in clinical settings.

Break/fix emphasis, with documentation in CMMS and collaboration with the Clinical Engineering team. The ideal candidate has a BMET-related degree, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and CBET or related certifications

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology (BMET), EET, science/tech, or military BMET training.
3–5 years biomedical/clinical or related technical experience.
Familiarity with calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of medical equipment.
Experience documenting maintenance and repairs in a CMMS.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and calibration of medical equipment.
Provide break/fix support and on-site repairs across offsite locations.
Document service activities and inventory in the CMMS.
Coordinate with Clinical Engineering team for installations and safety checks.
