Overview
Seeking an experienced BMET III to work independently on the maintenance, repair, calibration, and technical support of a wide range of patient care devices. This role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment integration/networking, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, calibration, and technical support on a broad range of patient care devices.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance per schedules and OEM guidelines.
- Assist with equipment integration and networking as required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements
- 3+ years of experience servicing biomedical equipment in a healthcare setting.
- Strong technical skills in electromechanical systems, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Familiarity with OEM/AEM guidelines, preventive maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with clinical and technical teams.
- Formal education in biomedical engineering/biomedical equipment highly desired.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle required.
