Job summary

CME Corp is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) to join our Biomedical Services team. This field-based role supports healthcare providers across the Midwest, including travel to multiple states, with a company vehicle provided.

You will install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair a wide variety of biomedical equipment while working independently in the field. Ideal candidates have an Associate degree in Electronics or BMET-related training, strong troubleshooting

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in electronics or BMET field.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Working knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, electricity, and related tech.
Experience using diagnostic and calibration equipment.
Strong computer skills including MS Office.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently in a field-service environment.
Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair biomedical equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety inspections.
Diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
Complete service documentation and reports.
Communicate repair status and customer concerns to clients and team.
Support equipment installations and customer training as needed.
Stay current on new technologies and best practices.
Follow company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
