Job summary

AAA Club Alliance in the United States is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Travel Agent to craft domestic and international itineraries, guide clients with personal travel experiences, and build lasting relationships for repeat business.

Join a dynamic team with structured training and opportunities for CTA certification. The role includes a competitive base pay with monthly incentives, full benefits, and a Monday–Friday schedule with some Saturday hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or travel school graduate preferred).
• At least 1 year of retail experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a travel agent or similar travel experience preferred.
• CTA designation required within two years of hire with company-paid training.
• Satisfactory background checks including pre-/post-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Craft unforgettable domestic and international travel experiences—cruises, tours, flights, hotels, and more.
• Use personal travel experiences to inspire and guide clients.
• Build long-term relationships, turning first-time clients into loyal travelers.
• Leverage AAA’s travel strategy to meet sales goals.
• Process bookings, payments, and travel documents per ARC, DOT, and policies.
• Educate clients on AAA benefits, including perks and AAA-branded cards.
• Address client concerns under management guidance.
• Attend events, training, and familiarization trips to stay current.
