Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital – Madison seeks an experienced registered nurse to join the Trauma department. You will coordinate patient care during admission and collaborate with staff and providers to ensure high quality outcomes.

The role requires a BSN or equivalent, at least three years of RN experience, and Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification within 90 days. Schedule is Monday–Friday, day shift, 32 hours per week, with potential for shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years' registered nurse experience.
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates development and evaluation of program services and initiatives.
• Plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates appropriate patient care.
• Maintains program documentation to support regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Assists with staff training and learning program development.
• Collaborates with advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes.
• Identifies and resolves issues related to care, costs, and new services.
