Qualifications

• Six months of nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Nursing Assistant I designation with NC DHHS.
• Fluent in English and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses with routine exams and procedures.
• Provide direct patient care and daily living activities.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient condition changes.
• Support patient safety and comfort during shifts.
• Assist in patient transport, equipment handling and supply restocking.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and accurate charting.
• Reinforce teaching provided by nurses and physicians.
• Assist with admissions, orientation and discharge processes.
