Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Surgical Tech II for the Night Shift on the Trauma Team at 90 Blossom Street, Boston. The role involves assisting in operations, setting up the OR, preparing and transporting patients, and ensuring sterile technique.

The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus (current MGB Surgical Techs not eligible) and a 40-hour weekly schedule as part of a fast-paced, collaborative environment within our trauma services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CST preferred or NBSTSA credential.
• 2-3 years of acute care surgical technologist experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operations under supervision.
• Set up operating room and transport patients for surgery.
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and assistants.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with counting sponges and needles.
• Adhere to policies and standards.
