Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist II for the 36-hour evening schedule with a $10K sign-on bonus. The role involves preparing and maintaining the operating room and assisting with peri-operative patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, current Surgical Technologist certification within one year of graduation, and a minimum of two years’ acute care experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Current Surgical Technologist Certification required within one year of graduation or equivalent service.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room environment for surgery.
• Assist with peri-operative patient care and work closely with surgeons and nurses.
• Ensure sterile techniques and maintain rapid, accurate performance in a fast-paced OR.
