Job summary

Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a Surgical Tech II for the Night Shift with the Trauma Team at 90 Blossom Street, Boston. Under supervision, you assist in operations, set up the OR, transport patients, pass instruments, and support surgeons.

Requires a High School Diploma, 2–3 years' acute-care experience (4 years preferred). CST preferred. Onsite role with competitive pay and benefits including pension, 403(b) match, MBTA pass, childcare resources, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting (2–3 years) required.
• CST certification or NBSTSA certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and in a trauma team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operations under supervision and help set up the operating room.
• Prepare and transport patients for surgery and pass instruments to surgeons.
• Maintain sterile technique and help count sponges, needles, and instruments.
• Support the patient care team and monitor OR conditions.
