Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Surgical Technologist for Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH. The role involves assisting in the operating room, preparing and transporting patients, and passing instruments to surgeons under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• NH Medical Tech license required.
• BLS required.
• Experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting 2-3 years preferred; 4+ years preferred; leadership experience 3-5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in time-out procedures.
• Attainment of extra supplies and equipment as needed.
• Sets up equipment independently.
• Participates as an active member of the Patient Care Team.
• Monitor and continually assess operating room conditions, including patient and surgical team needs.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including positioning on the operating table and covering with sterile drapes.
