Job summary

Ascension in Pensacola, Florida is seeking a certified Trauma/Critical Care APP (NP or PA) for a night shift in our Level I Trauma Center ICU, supported by a strong nonprofit health system.

You will join a growing team of physicians and APPs, collaborate with colleagues to foster an efficient practice model, and contribute to growth and quality outcomes while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date.
• Florida ARNP or NP license required before hire date.
• Florida Board of Nursing-credentialed NP required before hire date.
• Trauma/critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma/critical care in inpatient ICU (Level I Trauma Center).
• Collaborate with physicians and APPs to deliver high-quality care.
• Support growth and quality outcomes within the trauma program.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Florida Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or National Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner (NP) license required.

Education

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
