Ascension is seeking an experienced critical care physician for our Level II trauma center in Panama City, FL. The role is inpatient ICU‑oriented with 24‑hour shifts (12 onsite, 12 on call), collaborating with 2 FT physicians and 4 APPs within a nonprofit health system.

We require Florida MD/DO licensure or eligibility, board certification in critical care, and DEA registration eligibility. Advanced Life Support is preferred to support patient care excellence.

• Shifts are 24hrs (12 onsite, 12 unattached call - APP is onsite overnight)
• At least 1 year of critical care experience is preferred

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Board eligibility/certification in medical specialty required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
