Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (ACNP) to join the Level 1 Trauma Surgery ICU. You will manage ICU patients, perform procedures, interpret tests, prescribe medications, and contribute to education and research in a fast-paced academic setting.

The role requires ACNP certification, board certification, DEA license, and BLS/ACLS. Nights/weekends rotation and a strong trauma/acute care background are preferred for this highly collaborative team in

Qualifications

• Current ACNP certification and active credentials.
• First Assist credentials preferred for ACNPs.
• Current board certification, DEA license, and BLS/ACLS certification are required.
• TNCC or ATLS certification is preferred.
• Acquiring procedures/certifications within the year of hire is required.
• Minimum 3 years in acute care, trauma, or TSICU bedside experience preferred.
• Bronchoscopy, arterial line, central venous line, FAST, chest tube, brain death certification are part of expectations.

Responsibilities

• Directly manages trauma surgery ICU patients on weekdays.
• Rotates weekends/holidays with potential night coverage.
• Provide therapeutic and diagnostic procedures and prescribe medications.
• Educate, consult, and participate in research.
