Job summary

MyStethi, LLC is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join a trauma service-focused team in a hospital setting in New Mexico. The role emphasizes inpatient consultations, acute surgical management and collaboration with surgeons, APPs, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.

The AP role includes first-assist duties in the OR, outpatient care support, and ensuring continuity of care across the patient journey in a high-impact clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New Mexico.
• 1 year directly related experience in acute care or surgery.
• Ability to perform inpatient consultations and manage high-acuity patients.
• Competence in first-assist roles in the operating room.
• Team-based care with surgeons, APPs, nurses and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and develop treatment plans; implement treatment, follow-up.
• Perform patient history and physicals for procedures or admissions; document findings.
• Complete admitting orders, daily rounds; coordinate with staff and discharge planning.
• Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; explain procedures to patients and families.
• Educate patients/families on care and preventive practices.
• Support patient safety by following policies and reporting concerns.

Program Graduate

Advanced Nurse or Physician Assistant

Licensed to Practice in NM (Prescriptive Authority)

DEA Certification (NM)

BLS/CPR Certification

ACLS or PALS

Pediatric Nursing Certification
