Job summary

MyStethi, LLC seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) to deliver perioperative and postoperative care within a dynamic surgical environment. Work with attending surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care throughout the patient journey.

Position emphasizes autonomy within a fast-paced setting, collaboration with surgical staff, and contributing to positive patient outcomes. Per diem, night shift with diverse coverage. NJ/NY area compensation discussed with candidates.

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant Certification (PA) or Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) certification depending on track.
• CDS and DEA license requirements.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NJ RN license for APN track.
• APN certification for nurse practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative and postoperative management.
• Conduct inpatient hospital rounds.
• Respond to consults and urgent surgical evaluations.
• Perform comprehensive history and physical exams.
• Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory, radiologic, and diagnostic tests.
• Prepare and communicate management plans for surgical patients.
• Collaborate in patient discharge planning.
• Serve as Surgical First Assist in the operating room.
• Perform bedside procedures including wound care and dressing changes.
• Temporary dialysis catheter insertion; Midline and central line management.
• Chest tube management; Arterial line placement.
